Neftalem Habtemariam is a graduate of University of Kansas School of Law and Munich Intellectual Property Law Center. He is admitted to practice in Texas, Virginia, Washington State, and United States District Court. He is known for his compassion for others. He has a strong desire to protect the rights of ordinary people. He fights big corporations and governments on behalf of ordinary people. He represents his clients vigorously and works daily to achieve the best results possible for his clients. Luis Alvidrez

Attorney – SeaTac Office

Luis Alvidrez was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and raised in Arizona. He earned his degree in Business Law from Arizona State University, where he developed an interest in helping people through the legal system. Before going to law school, he worked as a case manager, which gave him early, hands-on experience with personal injury cases. Luis attended Seattle University School of Law, where he received the Presidential Scholarship. While in school, he clerked at a respected Arizona law firm, gaining practical experience and building the foundation for what’s now nearly a decade of work in personal injury law. He’s fluent in Spanish and is proud to serve clients from diverse backgrounds. And while he spends most of his time focused on his clients, he’s also been keeping a surprisingly long Duolingo streak in French, and he can easily bench 315 lbs. for reps. 

Joseph McGinnis

Pre-Litigation Department Supervisor – Tacoma Office

Joseph has been with our firm since 2021 and is one of our dedicated Paralegals. Joseph has worked in the legal field for a few years now since graduating from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in law and Policy and a minor in Human Rights. Joseph is passionate about helping his clients recover and understand the benefits available to those affected in all injury accidents. Joseph works at our Tacoma office and when not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, taking care of his new daughter Lilah, working on home improvement projects and watching sports!

Nancy Almaguer-Camacho

Chief Operating Officer – Yakima Office

Nancy is our firms Chief Operating Officer and has been with our firm since 2021. She works with our paralegals, legal assistants, and attorney to provide superior service to our clients.
She has over 6 years of legal experience primarily in personal injury, workers compensation, and trial litigation. She attended the University of Washington where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law, Society, & Justice and with three Minors in American Ethnic Studies, Human Rights, and Labor Studies. She is currently obtaining her master’s degree from Seattle University School of Law. Nancy is passionate and dedicated to helping our clients on their cases and helping serve the community. She is bilingual in Spanish and is a great help to our firms by managing and operating them, helping in all areas of a case, and working on demand drafting and settlement negotiations.
On her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting her family in Eastern Washington, and loves baking.

Hana Nike joined our firm in 2022 after completing her studies in business and technology at Bellevue. Prior to joining us, she gained valuable experience at Slalom Consulting, where she worked in HR. However, her true passion lies in personal injury and immigration law, which she has pursued at a dedicated firm in that field. Hana is known for her exceptional customer service skills, unwavering motivation, and passion for her work, all of which are evident in her commitment to excellence. She finds fulfillment in helping others and consistently strives to excel in every aspect of her career.

Intake Specialist – Dallas Office

Helen Keleta joined the firm in early 2021 and has taken the personal injury field by storm. Helen is our Law Office Area Manager for the Dallas Texas office. Helen is the most diverse paralegal on our team, being able to communicate with our clients in 4 different languages. After many years in the hospitality industry, Helen realized that she wanted to be more involved in her community and put her amazing customer service skills to better use. As a case manager, Helen is responsible for assisting clients with their case from start to finish and is subject matter expert in the field. When not working, Helen is a family-oriented person who enjoys spending time with her 3 children and husband. She also enjoys the company of her loyal friends. Helen is always willing and able to help with your case!

Maria Roman

Pre-Litigation Paralegal – Yakima Office

Maria Fernandez joined the law firm in 2021. Throughout her professional career Maria has had many job positions which have given her the experience she has working with clients in the legal field. She has very strong customer service skills and leadership skills that have helped clients through their injury cases. She takes pride at the work she does and assures her clients fully understand their rights. Maria attended Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington and obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration, she then attended Grand Canyon University located in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated with a master’s in business administration and a Master of Science in Leadership. Maria has two boys, and she enjoys spending quality time with them, while also enjoying long drives, shopping, and staying active.s and watching sports!

Yeabsira Tamene

Case Manager

Yeabsira joined our firm in 2024, bringing a diverse professional background and a strong focus on client care. She holds an MBA from the University of Wales and previously worked as a project manager in Ethiopia, gaining valuable international experience and leadership skills. As a case manager, she ensures a welcoming and supportive experience through clear communication, compassion, and efficiency. Known for her professionalism and exceptional customer service, she consistently goes above and beyond to make clients feel informed and cared for. Outside of work, Yeabsira enjoys spending time with her husband, extended family, and dog, embracing connection and community in all areas of life.

Bennieq Skelton

Bennieq [BEN-NIEQUE] Skelton was born in the heart of the Pacific — Pago Pago, American Samoa — where she was raised in a close-knit, hardworking community that valued support, discipline, and tradition. These early foundations deeply shaped her character, instilling in her a worldview grounded in resilience, gratitude, and purpose. From an early age, Bennieq displayed a natural curiosity and a strong drive for personal growth. Whether through academic exploration, life’s challenges, or moments of quiet reflection, she held firm to the belief that perseverance and authenticity are key ingredients to meaningful progress. Her academic journey initially led her toward international relations, political science, and even a brief foray into biology. With dreams of diplomacy or scientific discovery, she envisioned a career rooted in impact and intellect. But as life often reveals, purpose can take unexpected — and divinely guided — turns. That path brought Bennieq to the Habtemariam Law Firm, where she currently serves as a legal assistant. In this role, she has discovered a deep sense of fulfillment, sharpening her professional skills while gaining profound insights into justice, service, and the legal system. 

Jacqueline Duran

Admin Assistant – SeaTac Office

Jackie has been with the firm since 2023. As administrative assistant, she does a little bit of everything such as handling client/provider payments, provider outreach, and also oversees our client experience department. She has her BA from the University of Washington and has previous experience within the field of education. She is passionate about helping our clients and maintaining organization within the SeaTac office. During her free time, she enjoys bullet journaling, staying active, and spending time with her family.
